1 day workshop - Sun 18/07/2010 - 10am till 5:00pm
This is a relaxed workshop, aimed at beginners, where the emphasis will be on having some fun whilst making some beautiful unique pieces of jewellery that you can keep for yourself or give as a gift. I will take you though a couple of simple projects that will teach you all the basics you need to know and will give you the confidence to work with PMC. On this course we will make a simple pair of earrings and a necklace.

I will show you:-
~ How to handle the clay.
~ How to use the basic tools and equipment.
~ How to finish the clay ready for firing.
~ How to torch-fire the clay and turn it in to solid silver.
~ How to polish and finish your jewellery.

WHEN: 18th July 2010, 10am - 5pm, with a 45 minute lunch break.

Arty Giraffe have a range of yummy sandwiches, snacks and homemade cakes available for you to purchase on the day. Their carrot cake is awesome! You are welcome to bring along your own lunch if you would prefer.
 
PRICE
This price includes: 9 grams of Precious Metal Clay, 1 sterling silver chain and a pair of sterling silver ear wires. The clay supplied will be an adequate amount to complete all the projects. If you would like to make additional pieces, or work at a larger scale, then more clay will be available to purchase on the day. You are also welcome to bring your own clay (PMC3 only please).

REFUNDS
If, for any reason, you need to cancel your booking then please let me know ASAP. If I can fill your place then I will offer you a full refund. However, if I am unable to fill your place then I will only be able to refund you 50% of the course fee.
